Class site- Lucy’s home -Southwest Arlington –just south of I-20

It’s September- and it is getting nicer every day – we have even had some rain  and I know that you are starting to feel like gardening again.  Wouldn’t it be a good thing  if you could have a great well thought out plan by then?  Well here is the class that offers you that opportunity—in 2 days ( 9 hours ) of class time . I call it my “crash course” I know that your time is  valuable  –and this 2 day offers you all of the material and the same notebook as my 8 week classes did .  We will view slides  of plant material and designs and  do sample designs on the board in class & tour the gardens . The notebook contains 150 pages of  my information on plant material including –where and how to plant hundreds of plants and  my organic procedures including a month by month guide on how to feed and trim everything and a  list of all the products that I use –how to use them- and why.

8:30-9:00 Am—Come in and get settled-meet new friends

9:00 -10:15 –Class starts- Introduction to design – Basic design skills

10:15-11:00—-  Slides of  projects to inspire you

11;00-11:15 Stretch break-******************************************

11:15-11:45- Slides on Trees and  Shrubs,-the backbone of your design

11:45—12:30 Slides on Perennials —Jewels of the Garden

12:45-1:00—Garden tour

Saturday  August

8:30-9:00—Come in and get settled-play in the garden

9:00-10:00—Roses and Herbs –Slides on Companion Planting

10:00-10:45— Growing food crops-get ready for fall

10:45-11:00-  Stretch Break**********************************************

11:00-11;30—  Garden tour

11:30-12;15  Organic  principles / procedures and products

12;15-1:00  How to use your new found knowledge and build on it
